
About Stuart Reed
Stuart Reed is an attorney and mediator who has helped people and businesses to resolve and navigate through legal concerns in Florida for more than 30 years. From 1994 through 2025, Stuart's offices were in Miami, Miami Beach, Hollywood and Hallandale. He now lives and works in Saint Petersburg, Florida and is available for in-person mediations and consultations throughout the Tampa Bay region, and for online meetings to help people and businesses anywhere with legal concerns in Florida. Stuart graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 1992 and from the University of Virginia in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in environmental sciences. Prior to law school, he worked for the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management as a Pollution Control Inspector. As an attorney, Stuart has represented clients in family court cases, business lawsuits, landlord and tenant cases, condominium and homeowners association disputes, probate court, immigration petitions and immigration court, estate planning, foreclosures, real estate and business transactions, personal injury cases, non-profit matters, collaborative family law cases and a variety of other legal matters. In volunteer community service, he was a member the City of Miami Beach's Historic Preservation Board, Marine Authority, and Transportation Committee, and he was a board member on the Sierra Club Miami Group's board of directors and the Miami Design Preservation League's board of directors. In 2016, Stuart also became a yoga instructor and organized workshops for attorneys on mindfulness and yoga. He volunteers at senior centers teaching chair yoga classes, previously in Miami Beach and now in Gulfport, FL. In his free time, Stuart enjoys walking his dog, bicycling, paddleboarding, hiking, playing piano, swimming and teaching yoga. He is a proud parent of a daughter attending the University of South Florida in Tampa.
